Launched in 2013, the Lilizela Tourism Awards (named for the Zulu word, “Lilizela” which means celebrating and praising by ululating when someone has done well) recognise and reward tourism players and businesses that work passionately, and with pride, to deliver world-class product and service, and whose delivery grows South Africa's global destination competitiveness.
The Eastern Cape finals will take place on 20th September 2018 and we wish all members the best of luck and thank them for doing the Eastern Cape proud, especially during this Tourism Month, as the Eastern Cape is the main focus of South African Tourism's Tourism Month campaign.
