Hogsback Winter Celebration

This annual life-style event offers nostalgic family oriented entertainment around the theme of slow living, outdoor entertainment,authentic craft,  rural and sustainable green tourism. In keeping with the spirit of the event, program items unfurl around town without the hectic pressure of a city festival.

An eclectic mix of participants and entertainment options are sure to satisfy all the members of the family: sport, music, arts, interactive craft workshops, great food, etc.

Visitors are encouraged to contribute to the legacy of the event by supporting Hobbiton on Hogsback (official charity of the event) initiatives.

This year we are hoping for lots of snow during our annual Hogsback Winter Celebration- Let it snow! We are inviting everybody to come and enjoy the crisp clear mountain air in Hogsback. One of the highlights, as always, is the annual thrilling Chill Dip for the brave and courageous souls out there!

We will again be hosting crafters at various venues around the Village and there will be lots of activities and events for both young and old. Some of the things already lined up are:
