Africanos Country Estate prides itself on its tranquil atmosphere and contemporary architecture.  This recently established hotel comprises of luxurious guest suites, each rich with character and yet ever so modest making it the perfect home away from home.

Clients' comfort and relaxation are of the utmost top priority, it should come as no surprise that each suite is furnished with a king size bed, and en-suite bathroom.  These are just but a few of the standard perks that are accountable in bringing about a warm ambiance in this yet undiscovered haven.

Africanos Country Estate is the home of exquisite country cuisine as well as Addo’s only Sushi bar. Our menu offers patrons a myriad of dishes to suit every palate and reveals a constant striving for the ultimate synergy of texture, flavour and juiciness.

Accommodation

Africanos Country Estate has 12 luxury rooms, all beautifully decorated in a natural earth décor style.  The rooms are fully equipped with everything you would expect from a top rated establishment, including air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with heated towel rails, plus an additional open air outdoor shower for nature lovers, a guest lounge area with satellite television, electronic laptop safes and free WIFI. Room service is available from the restaurant kitchen, should you wish to rather relax in your privately entered suite, on your 100% leather sofa… and you can truly lose yourself in the luxurious percale linen and ultra-cosy duck down duvet on King Size beds (singles also available).  We are also a proud wheelchair and disability friendly hotel.  All our rooms are securely locked with access cards to ensure the privacy and security of our guests. The cards are assigned to each guest and this allows for secure access and privacy.  Your vehicle will be safe with under cover parking and 24hr security.  We also have a shuttle service available on request. 

Conference 

Africanos offers a unique tranquil experience.   Our individual conference venues have the ability to be morphed from a small event to a huge indoor or outdoor product launch or conference.  The fully air-conditioned events hall can seat between 50-500 conference delegates.  A state of the art projector, 7m wide screen and top of the range ‘Shure’ microphone system will ensure that your event is presented professionally and without a hitch.  For a more intimate conference an executive boardroom with all electronic facilities is available.  Africanos will breathe new life into company conferences, functions and special events.  Our dedicated team will assist in ensuring that we provide you with an experience to cherish forever.   At Africanos our customers are our main priority and we strive to meet all your needs.  We know that every event is different with its own specific needs and objectives.  Our team will work with you to create a long lasting impression on your guests or business partners. 

Whether it’s fine dining or a buffet style meal that you require Africanos can cater for you.  Our head chef will provide advice and work with you to create delicious and sumptuous meals for your event.

Africanos Country Estates offers the perfect setting for the most romantic day of your life.   We know that marriages are made in heaven but performed here on earth . . . and that’s why we will go out of our way to make this memorable day an occasion that you would treasure forever.   We have the most romantic settings to escape to, that priceless moment that you have been waiting for your entire life. 

Ceremony

There are various options where your magical ceremony can be performed.  In our romantic chapel, outside under the open skies set amongst huge trees or at our tranquil fountain.  The Chapel can comfortably accommodate 80 guests and is equipped with a music and air-conditioning system.  The fountain area can seat up to 200 guests, while the open skies area can seat up to 300 guests. A perfect venue for both intimate smaller or extravagant larger wedding groups.

Pre Wedding Drinks

Your guest can enjoy a pre-wedding welcome drink outside at the fountain area, or for rainy days move inside into our beautiful restaurant, wine bar or day bar.

Reception

We believe that your big day must be absolutely breathtaking from the start right through to the end.  Our air-conditioned venue ads a welcome respite from the summer heat, and be swept away with an exquisite interior style, making it an ideal location for your special day. 

Our venue can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on the seating arrangement.  Whether you choose a banquet-style or a dinner & dance setting, your guests will be comfortable throughout your entire day.  Banquet-style can seat up to 300 and dinner & dance up to 250 guests.

The Orchard View 

Our off-site farm ceremony venue is situated on the Venter Family Farm. This country-side jewel is the perfect setting to host a rustic, farm-themed ceremony with a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Guests will experience the beautiful country setting under open skies, overlooking the breath taking Sundays River Valley. Kick off your dream day with a picture perfect ceremony after which your guests will be treated at our elegant and glamorous reception venue, Africanos Country Estate. The added touch will make your wedding unique and memorable!

Included in our packages are all the tables & chairs, white table linen and white linen serviettes, assortment of glasses, plates and cutlery.

Viewing the venue is encouraged.  Please make an appointment as we are open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 and weekends on appointment only, depending on availability.
